Forever - present

The age-old transcultural/religious tree of life symbol is a recurring element in Kathryn’s work. Given that it has held meaning across cultures and religions for eons, she uses it to stimulate questions about its meaningfulness in the 21st century. The tree of life appears as a cascade of branches or as a beacon-like entity in Kathryn’s motherhood, environmental, droned and invisible landscape paintings.
